lunches

Me:  leftover fish of unknown origin (dinner from my folks’ last night), with boiled rice, which is not inferior to anything, sauteed peppers, onions and other shit.  With very salty and delicious sauce.  One child asked, “but what’s inside the fish?”  Um… fish?

Girl Neighbor:  nachos from new burrito place downtown.  “Stick with burritos,” she says.  Just F y’all’s I. (Also, I think new burrito place may be new only to me.)

A frozen rice bowl from Target, which was actually much better than I expected. A peanut & pretzel sweet/salty granola bar from cascadian farms. A few goldfish. And some raspberry lemonade from a bottle. Yum.

    late lunch/dinner:
homemade tuna melt. nothing much better than freshly made tuna (the only way i eat it, is if *i* made it) with lots of pepper, toasted with sharp cheddar…mmmmm and some diet cranberry juice.

7pts total, if anyone is doing WeightWatchers.

Reheated leftover catfish, with boiled rice, sauteed peppers, onions, and broccoli, all in a salty and delicious sauce of lime juice, vegetarian Worcestershire, low-sodium soy, cilantro paste, and pepper. I added some very hot sauce to it and supplemented with some wheat crackers and a banana. Water.

  4. leftover indian-ish chicken with onions over rice — cold and right out of the tupperware, semi-discreetly in the corner of the library. the last bites of sunday’s pie and a few pieces of a green (? !) cantaloupe.

I think it was leftover goat curry and brown rice that day. Today (so far) was yogurt with blackberry jam, a grapefruit and 5 almonds. But I’m craving something else.
